It used to be hard to find movies-sites before youtube, let alone salsa video sites. But there was one great site: Mamboston2.com. I used to go there alot for congres footage. This is one of the videos shot. They were several scenes, but I edited them together. Some great dancers in there who inspired me so long ago.

How have you been? Miss me? No? What I've been doing?
Well......do you know the saying: When the shit hits the fan?
Well I was standing in between the shit and the fan, trying to keep it from getting hit. You know that dream where you are being chased by an axe-wielding killer for about 3 hours and you somehow kept getting away? Well I felt like I was the axe-murderer trying to keep up with your ass. Man has it been crazy. So much to do, at the same freaking time.
But there is another saying: If it doesn't kill you, it will make you stronger.
And then I have my own saying. If you survive one thing from killing you, like for example an axe-wielding murderer, you only find a chainsaw-wielding murderer on the other side...
In my case, at this particular time, the chainsaw-wielding muderer is.......taxes. God these people really try to bleed you dry. And for what? In general, when money changes hands, you either get something material, or some kind of service, or you rent something? So what do I get huh Mr me-gonna-take-all-your-money? What, tell me what??? I'll tell you what you get: The right to operate and pay even more money to these "nice" people when you start making more.
Oh well, it really does have its rewards. We have some great people in our classes and we're doing pretty good. But we wanna get better.....always. And I guess it's better to have too much to do, then nothing at all as part-owner of a company. The rewards are pretty good: People that really grow in our classes, people that specifiacally seek us out to take classes, people that get more conscious in a multitude of ways. I thank you all for that and that great invisible entity in the sky as well. (read: God)
Most importantly, I still love what I do and people still react to that love, that passion, to us. And as long as i can, i'll keep trying to pas it on and keep serving the higher purpose.
May ALL your choices in 2008 make you happier when you make them and act on them. Echa P'alante.
All in all, I am certainly not rested......but it's worth it.

I have been doing it for the last couple of weeks to remind me how it feels when you just start dancing. You want to do something, you will your body to do it, but your body does something completely different due to a lack of control. And if this can work for brushing my teeth, then it should be able to work for anything.
