I wonder if it would work

Been having some fun with Super Mario Galaxy as of late. But that's not what this blog is about.

Everytime I turn on my Wii and head for the Super Mario Galaxy icon, I get this message stating:

Please make sure that the wiimote strap is securely fastened. (onto your wrist) alternated with the text: make sure there are no people or objects in the vicinity. This is accomponied by a couple of little animatons of the strap tied to your wrist and someone waving the wiimote like a lunatic and breaking everything and everyone in the neighbourhood.

Now this isn't immediately skippable, so what happens? I dutyfully shove my hand through the loop of the wiimote strap, since there is nothing else to do.

I wonder if that shit would work with for example a car. Say it wouldn't start immediately and showed the text: fsten your seatbelt pelase, followed by iconic graphics of what might happen if you don't/ Would that work?

    I wonder...

if you could apply this to some (hilarious) situations, like:

When you're getting ready to practice unafe sex with somebody you barely know. ( I think anytime this happens, some old bill cosby lookalike should pop up and go: come one son, you know you don't wanna do this)
When you're getting ready to cross the street while the light is still red
When you're getting ready to spend way more than you have
When you get up at 3 in the morning and on your way back o back you open the refrigerator (or just invent a timelock for those suckers)

Or specifically in my case, when it's 1 o 'clock in the morning and I go turn on one of my consoles. The console should jsut display this text: Boy..is you crazy? It's 1 o'clock on a wednesdaynight, go sleep for God's sake.
